  4. The Quit CSM package consists of a control strip module (Quit CSM) and a control panel (Quit CSM Settings). Installation depends on the module host you are using (Control Strip, Extensions Strip or ACTION GoMac).

  31. ‚Ä¢ Control Strip
  32. Move the Quit CSM Settings control panel into your Control Panels folder directly or by dropping it on your System Folder's icon.
  33. If you have Mac OS 8.1 or lower move Quit CSM into your Control Strip Modules folder directly or by dropping it on your System Folder's icon and restart your computer.
  34. If you have Mac OS 8.5 or higher simply drop Quit CSM on the Control Strip.

  36. ‚Ä¢ Extensions Strip
  37. Move the Quit CSM Settings control panel into your Control Panels folder directly or by dropping it on your System Folder's icon.
  38. Drop Quit CSM on your favorite strip.

  40. ‚Ä¢ ACTION GoMac
  41. Move the Quit CSM Settings control panel into your Control Panels folder directly or by dropping it on your System Folder's icon.
  42. Move Quit CSM into your Control Strip Modules folder directly or by dropping it on your System Folder's icon. Then control-click the area under ACTION GoMac's clock tray to popup the Task Bar's contextual menu and select Quit CSM from the Install Module submenu.

  47. - Minimum required Extensions Strip version is 2.0bx. If Extensions Strip 2.0bx or higher is not available, Quit CSM will come x-ed in the strip. The latest Extensions Strip version can be downloaded at http://www.skidperfect.com/.

  49. - If you have System 7.x.x Quit CSM will need Appearance Extension to be installed. If Appearance Extension is not available, Quit CSM will come x-ed in the Control Strip. Appearance Extension is freely distributed by Apple and can be downloaded at ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/Development_Kits/Appearance_SDK_1.0.4.sit.hqx.

  51. - It is not possible to run two or more Quit CSM control strip modules at the same time. Therefore if you have more Quit CSM copies in your Control Strip Modules folder, then one copy will effectively run and all other copies will be dimmed.

  57. Similarly, if you have more module hosts installed, Quit CSM will effectively run from one module host and will be dimmed in all other module hosts. If you use Extensions Strip or ACTION GoMac as module host, please be sure Control Strip is disabled and not just hidden.
